Wanted Renewal Dischage Book from Lusitania/other ships
Hello Gentleman, I live in the states and am currently trying to put together a small exhibit with artifacts and items from survivors who sailed on the Lusitania, Empress of Ireland, Republic/ and other ships through WW1. This would be something similar to a Titanic exhibit but smaller and more local but at least want to share and remember these fine ships along with the people who sailed on them. The reason for the post is I am trying to locate Continuous Discharge Books from survivors of these shipwrecks that mention they are replacement discharge books and show they were on the ships when they were shipwrecked. Any help would be much appreciated as I know normally these are heirlooms that most people do not want to let go. Thank you for reading my post and I am more than willing to compensate also any help or stories from survivors passed down would be much appreciated!

Hi Doc, thanks for the links and the quick reply! The links are the items of course what I am looking for but actually needing the physical books themselves if anyone even has them out there? I have some discharge books, artifacts, and survivor information but there is certain ships, Lusitania, Empress, etc.... that I have been looking for. If I succeed in getting the exhibit together it would actually consist of artifacts and items from survivors.

Anyone out there have anything? Got some copies of documents that will help but still looking for any old discharge books from the early 1900s up through ww1. I appreciate everyone looking at this post and all the help!

Been a while since I checked on here. I am still in hopes of getting my empress exhibition put together here in the states. Still desperately seeking discharge books from the early 20th century up to ww2. I need a Empress of Ireland and Lusitania replacement discharge book.
