Re: Weather and the News
All the more reason why every penitentiary should still have a gallows or electric chair, then they could have a choice of the Rope Gang or the Short Sharp Shock gang, could maybe shortened to the SSS gang. JS
I was a member of an SSS gang when I was 12/13 but stood for Secret Smoking Society , we used to take turns of buying the rationed cigarettes at a penny each from under the counter. 0ne cigarette among 6 of us didn’t last long. JS .

Re: Weather and the News
But the gangs of today like to go inside.
There they can learn new ways of doing what they do.
It may become very interesting if France and UK get involved in the Ukraine mess.
UK PM sounds keen to send troops, got to use them somewhere and get rid of all the excess ammo.

Professional Politicians who have never served but are keen to walk around in camouflage jackets when visiting military establishments are always keen to send other people into war zones.
According to various military experts appearing on TV are keen to give succour to our possible foes stating our forces are extremely understaffed, over weight, under trained and our ammunition stocks are dangerously low.
Who needs enemies when you have friends like this who want their one minute of fame in the public eye.

Re: Weather and the News
I posted earlier that a few years ago, Germany & France suggested we became less reliant on the USA & NATO. The UK said no as it would affect the running of NATO, Well Trump has basically said f-uck Europe and perhaps him and the other world dictator will just carve it up between them and build a R&R centre in Gaza for the lads.
Why do we Brits keep kidding ourselves about the special relationship, we have let the USA shaft the UK since the lend lease act from WW2

Re: Weather and the News
Same here in Oz.
Our PM thinks we have a special relationship with USA as we are buying some of their nuclear subs.
Best bit, we are a non nuclear power, we sell yellow cake but will not use it ourselves.
But we will, when we get them, maintain them in a facility in Adelaide.
