I did a trip as an apprentice on La Estancia Oct 67 - May 68.
Would like to hear from any of the 'crowd' on that trip.
I left the sea afterwards, but still tried to "run away to sea" on 4 occaisons since, my last trip being 'under sail'!
Life's bitter experience since, has taught that the "hard apprentichip" would have valuable both at sea and ashore.
