    PS to #10 I had my 21 st. 12 years previous to yours in a bar in Belfast called Ma Carroll’s walked out with someone’s carry out and girlfriend , your only 21 once. Cheers js

    Thanks for the update. That will be Alex Frew in Queensland, also on the Ribera at the same time as us. Hope Kenny's trip ends up in the UK and we get the chance to have a few more.

    #9 ref. glen James... just speaking to Kenny and suddenly remembered had been talking to you , I couldnít remember your name but he did.     Were you a fanatical carp fisherman? If you were then maybe you can remember telling me all about it. I sailed as a supernumerary from Houston to Chiba and Kobe Feb 10 to March 13 1970. My parents knew Mr Bolton who was an owner. His son Charlie was a cadet for that trip, learning about his old man's business.
