Albert Morrish
Hi,
I'm trying to find out any stories or photos involving my Granddad, Albert Morrish. He served with the Bibby Line on the following ships:
MV Leicestershire - Bibby Line Oct 1952 - Apr 1955
MV Derbyshire - Bibby Line Oct 1953
MV Staffordshire - Bibby Line Apr 1955 - Jan 1958
He served as a Chief Baker on board and would have been around 48 years old in 1952. Any information regarding the him or the ships would be greatly welcome.
Also, I have started to collect photos of the ships he was on and I have one photo I believe is the Leicestershire. In the photo the ship is tied up along side and seems to have quite alot of damage to the Bow. Does any one know, did the Leicestershire ahve an accident? Has any one any info about this?
Many thanks for your help
Carl
