Captain John Logan
I am the son of Captain John Logan and I am researching the family history. My father died in June 1959 as a result of an accident on board the BenLoyal whilst it was docked in Hull. I was 13 at the time so have little knowledge of the events or my father's career with the Ben Line. Any information would be of great use to me.

Welcome to the site Bruce. A sad story indeed. I do hope that that you are able to find out plenty about your late father. In the mean time you will hopefully find plenty on the site which will help to give you an insight into what it was like to be at sea in the 40s and 50s. Good luck with your research.
