looking for photos
Hi my name is John Lynch I attented the national sea training school in Denton Gravesend in october-December 1969 I was just woundering if their is any one who remembers me and have any photos of the course at that time.

Hi John.
Welcome to the site. Denton! wasn't that where they moved the Gravesend sea school to? A year ago I was talking to a bloke down here in Cooma [Aus] who went there; haven't seen him since. We went down there last time we were home on a trip as my wife's grandfather built a row of cottages there , his name Webb is still on the front wall, there will no doubt be someone of site who went there, so sit back and enjoy the site.

Hi John, There was a BBC Documentary made at the school in question around the time you where there, The documentary is called the concrete ship.
I have been trying for years to get hold of it to no avail if you ever come across it mate please inform me, Here is a short clip from that era follow the link and it will jog your memory. Regards Terry.

It used to be in gravesend town centre then they moved it down on the the canal road on the marshes.
The met police use it now for there specialist training
