mystery ship
somehow this image was sent to me to id the ship were from i do not know - can any one help please ? ,

Looking at the funnel,and hull and superstructure/derrick colours it's surely a Safmarine cargo ship? I couldn't begin to identify any name possibilities though!

She maybe on charter, have had a look through Safmarine book, can't see any ships with a black Hull.

Either SA Alphen or SA Huguenot. If I was guessing I'd say it was the latter.
The other two sisters of that class had a few design differences with the accommodation.

Yes,you are probably right Vic.Didn't Safmarine jobs have grey hull with green boottopping,I think ?

As said in a reply, i too cannot find one with Black Hull, but feel it may be as also mentioned on Charter , but could be any one of these!

Looking at Docs posting she could be one of the ALPHEN class.
All photos I have of them, have white painted hulls.

Definitely one of the Alphen class and of the first two built.
See this page for numerous photographs of them, including the ships with dark grey hulls.
