    Default Steward

My dad James Winstanley was a Steward for P&O from the age of 16 he then went on to troop carriers when the war started.
I assume he was on the Atlantic and the Pacific as he has the medals. He was on the Winchester in 1944 and on the Pretoria Castle in 1939.
I would like to know where I would find the records for him that will tell me where he was and which ships he was on, can anyone help please?

Only a guess here Hugh ,there are two listed as you may already have seen Born 1922 and 1923?? But could be earlier too!
Will of course await reply from Jennifer!

With MN records, I stopped guessing years ago Vernon - best wait for confirmation otherwise wasted effort .
