king edward vii hospital
while watching our local tv news cast tonight, there was a segment on prince william and kate. it showed him leaving the hospital. inoticed what appeared to be a merchant navy crest on the inner glass doors. my question, is there a connection between the mn and the hospital. it was aquick flash, but i'm sure it was the crest.
any thoughts,

Badge
I think you will find that the badge depicted is a RN badge, normally worn on berets, (and/or caps of Petty Officers) the MN badge is similar but does not have the intertwined rope around the anchor, unless someone has half-inched the rope from mine
Again I stand to be corrected

Certain:
I am certain this was discussed before, at the time of the Duke of Edingburgh leaving hospital. Cannot for the life of me remember the conclusion from then. I will when pos look back and check. Officialy as previously stated: apparently - In the main hospital reception there is a stained glass window depicting iconic emblems of the Royal Navy, Army, Air Force and Merchant Navy.
Being closest pos to London, will pop in, next visit and take some pics. Or will just phone the hospital ? etc. Certain of help and of a result again ASAP
If I come up with more prior, will advise further ASAP.
