Re: The young people of today
I had a bike, second hand, two tin cans and a length of string for the phone. There were things called phone boxes that took four pennies and if you were lucky you got through. The car was only used at the weekend if your dad had one. But we got a roast on Sunday, cold meat Tuseday and fish on Friday. Dad often got cold shoulder and tounge pie but we were happy. I often look at the youth of today and begin to understand that they have no concept of life unless it is attached to some form of electronic divice. Sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
