Was that the national memorial Arboretum http://www.thenma.org.uk. , if so this is a reason that I fail to understand why they want to build a second national memorial at Dover

Re: National War Memorail
Hi Lou, this is the place, National Memorial Arboretum Croxall rd, Alrewas, Staffs DE13 7AR, off A38 onto A513, well signed posted, lovely area for MN, need most of the day to see all that is there, café and rest rooms, and shop. good walking shoes/or boots, pack your own lunch if you want, you need to buy a map, which, I think your ticket in, find it on google maps, and Street view, which will walk you round most of it, hope this helps, have fun.

Re: National War Memorail
It was recorded there Sept.1st 2011 for showing on Rememberence Sunday 2011 hence the reason for the poppies.

No worries Lou, as I said, go on google maps, put the post code in, and you will be sitting in the reception area, go onto street view, and walk round, just remember it was filmed 6years ago, so a lot as changed, but it will give you a good idea, as to what it will be like, there are quite a few pics on there as well, take care, Ray
