Good on you Lou.Having never been to Tower Hill myself, if you fancy some company when you go it would be a privilege to accompany you. It is on my to do list for 2013 anyway.

Hi Lou,thanks for your pm's.Yes I'm realy looking forward to your visit, there will be lots going on that May Bank Holiday weekend both at the Albert Dock and the Pier Head seeing its the Year Of The Convoy 2013.There will be naval ships from various countries in attendance.I see Brian will be coming to the Pool to see you it would be nice if any other members are coming to Liverpool for that weekend to get in touch and maybe we could have a mini meet up, anyway theres plenty of time to sort that out.

AJ,its a long way off and I suppose there are a few things that we can kick around for ideas.I think Lou wants to have a good look around, around the celebrations what will be going on at Albert Dock and Pier Head, ideally a good shufty around followed by a well deserved bevvy and the obligatory yarn or two something to do with ships.Lou hopes to stay on the Albert Dock or close by so tobe near the action.
Regards.

A trip to remember Lou!
Hello Lou
Well that sounds terrific mate, and i am sure like i was,you too are now feeling very happy and excited! The only trouble with Booking early (i did too) is the wait! haha!
You will be having some restless nights awaiting the time to come.i know all about it haha!
It is good that you have your Daughters place to stay at,as that does cut a lot of the cost out.
Lou you must get a whole lot of Pics mate,as its a trip that one doesnt make al that often, and the memories must be kept!
I am sure it will be nice to meet up with a few of the Lads, give Jim (and any others that may be there with you) my best when you see them! Wonder who else will be able to get to meet up with you!
I see here that you have Posted online as suggested to tell the Lads that you are going, that way it will give you and whoever time to try and arrange a meet up!
So now just the wait Lou!
Take care mate
I am making another trip in 2014! As 2013 is the turn of my dear Wife Irene!
Cheers
Vernon
