Durban and Kenya castle
Hi Monty
I was on the Durban and Kenya from November 1960-January 1962 I remember your Dad-was on fire station with him on the Kenya.I remember him singing `Every Thing Stops For Tea`one time-good voice.
Other names that come to mind are-Chief LaundryMan Sid McKevit,a deck boycalled Tony,Laundry maid Annie Alsops(must have been nickname)mate of mine Bill Austin and three young guys from Canning Town who were always together Knocker,Woody and Mick. There were two stewards Katey and Thelma and of course remember Tiny.I got one or two photo`s taken onboard the Kenya-if I can workout how to scan them I`ll put them up.Anyway hope one of these names jogs your memory.Stan
