Stammering
Read a report on the net today about the opposition leader of the Labor party in UK.
Votes for 16 year olds, votes for EU people living in UK, votes for non residenst??
Is he for real, maybe votes for illegals.
Theer has been suggestions here of votes for 16 year olds but knocked back, how can some one who does not pay tax, drive or be old enough for armed service get the vote.
Surely this suggestion by Labor is just to get enough votes to win the next erection, would the majority of sound minded persons agree to some of his ideas?
Your comments on the back of a postage stamp please, sent to Broadmoor.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Stammering
Never mind 'Stammering' a new expression for people unable to make their mind up should be 'Starmering'
There's a cue for a song in there somewhere

Re: Stammering
Coming from the tory ranks here this Goverment has flipped & flopped on more than one occassion. Like hello just last week the 2000EU laws . Kemi Badenoch got a telling off by the speaking Lindsay Hoyle for disrepecting the house. A lot of her own back benchers were not best pleased.
UK government set to U-turn on plan to scrap or revise all EU law
Fury among Eurosceptics over news that large sections of Brussels legislation will stay on statute books
U turns to date since Rishi took over being PM
Housing Targets , Schools, Fracking, £10 fines for time wasters missing NHS appointments oh the list goes on.
Must admit I agree with him about those being fined for failure to keep an NHS appointment should have been £50.00 in my book.

Re: Stammering
Stammer is getting desperate, he knows the polls indicate that he will not have an out majority.
Do deal with SNP. Last week no, wait and see.
Do a deal with Lib DEMS, wait and see.
No doubt between now and polling day he will fliip flop more times than a mop.

Re: Stammering
It is the "Greens' here looking for the 16 year old vote.
At that age they are not sure but most easy to educate to one particular way of thinking
Get them young and keep them, then in time the Greens will have enough seats to maybe form gov.
Then just start praying for sanity to come back.

Re: Stammering
Stammering but others are stuttering.
Javid Mirandi has donated over £750k to the tory coffers, um!!! he is under investigation for world wide Money laundering.
The Evening Standard had quite a spread about this guys business & would appear he has been dealing with some shady characters.
What is going on in the city of London.
Evgeny Lebedev , 37, owns the Independent, the London Evening Standard and the television channel London Live along with his his father. Alexander, a KGB operative turned banking oligarch dubbed ‘the spy who came in for the gold’.
So we have an Iranian who is now a British citizen. We have a British/Russian newspaper owned by Evgeny Lebedev and his KGB dad Alexander spilling the beans on alledged money Laundering on an international scale by a major Donator to the Conservative party.
Let's not forget this fella either Nadim Zahawi (Iraq) now a brit.
Nadhim Zahawi has been sacked as Conservative Party chairman for "serious breaches" of the ministerial code after it emerged he paid a penalty to HMRC over unpaid tax. Believed to be one of the richest politicians in the House of Commons, Mr Zahawi made his fortune after co-founding the online polling company YouGov.
Do not think Sir Keir Stammer has a lot to worry about come election time next year. Especially seeing as Rishi Sunak, Suella Braverman, Kemi Badenoch, James Cleverly(Serra Leone mother) doing such a splendid job of U turning on nearly every policy from the Manifasto. Thankfully the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has replaced Kwasi Kwarteng(Ghanaian parents)
Thankfully Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson had to give up his US citizenship before becoming PM, Has Rishi given up his US citizenship? yet ? Thankfully his wife has decided to pay a few quid tax on her £700 million shares overseas income.
Anyway we will see how well Stammer & Co do come the next General election
