The thing about women's football, is that is what it is, "women's football". It's pointless comparing it to men's football, because they're so different. The only way you can compare them, is to have mixed teams, then we'd see how different they are.
The only time I've seen that kind of thing, is during the "Celebrities vs the rest of the world" match they put on the telly sometimes. Then of course it's quite obvious.
I believe mixed teams are allowed at school, but once they get older it's not encouraged. I don't suppose it'll be long though, before some trans geezer want's to be in a women's team.

Thing about mixed football in schools. The womens game is entertaining but play a mans team against a womens team think the girls would get hammered. Just the fact that the game would be more physical and not sure the ladies could take the hard knocks.
    Jimmy Connors v Martina Navratilova.
Navratilova lost 7-5, 6-2, even though she was allowed two serves to Conner's one and played to the doubles court.

When I talk of "mixed" teams, I mean men and women in one side. It just doesn't work.

    Cappy .
He must have learned his running from you, you were a champion in South Aus LoL.
I know how you feel, my sisters boy was the Welsh long distance champion a few years ago now, we all thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But a rugby cap, the best.

There is a definite difference not only in the shape of the females but the manner in which they play.

They play at a faster pace than most men and do not appear to get as hurt, not so much time used up by them in this situation.

But as with all sports there are few where both sexes can play on an even term as a mixed one, tennis is one and maybe squash or other similar sports.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

John not many physical sports really one on one a woman would come out on top. Bowls some of the best players I have played against have been women, that is an equal level sport.
Football is not always about pace.
