Road Haulage Association, B.P. Executive, And anyone else mentioned all the same source same meeting, It was leaked by a mouth piece belonging to this government.
Comments made by Hanna Hofer, head of BP’s retail business, at a Cabinet Office meeting were leaked. On September 16, Ms Hofer told civil servants, hauliers and other industry figures that the company had ‘two-thirds of normal forecourt stock levels’.
It is interesting to note that BP Hoyer oil fuel delivery drivers were planning a strike ballot early to mid September.
The planned strike was over pay and conditions and surprisingly if held would have lead to scenes similar to what we are having today.
BP could have engineered the "shortages" in order to deflect any criticism away from them.
Who said or did what we probably never ever get to the bottom of it.
As for a shortage of drivers there are exactly the same amount of HGV drivers in the UK as there was this time 3 months ago.

Not so terry it came from another leaker ..of cause he will not be sacked for causing the panic .....probably get a medal from the third column which is now trying to cause mayhem in the country .....mainly remainers and the cobyn hangers on blocking roads .......he should be banned from using toilet rolls for life .....no prob here in north yorks just filled up no prob .....last week touring in northumberland no shortage ..the only shortage i see is the donkeys not getting vaccinated.....they should be...put in isolation till the pandemic is over.....or better still shot.....cappy
So Boris the ringmaster and his cabinet of clowns were warned in advance of petrol shortages and advised to take action. What action was taken ?
