#35 Think you are talking about the movie as that was what the plot was all about. The author made it sound very authentic even to one of the characters being a female relative of JC. Which is quite feasible to most people as he was 33 when he died and I think most can’t imagine him as a Virgin. His mother Mary certainly wasn’t as had a son James before JC. Depending on your faith and what you personally believe is what matters . JC if the stories about his exploits are true , he would have been the first person to promote communism , as his early teachings were everyone is equal. However true day to day communism strayed from this path long ago , and some are more equal than others . Today we practice Democracy whenever possible which means we believe what we want. Others though in the likes of Kabul dont think on those lines . They prefer the old ways , their country , their business. If you have ever studied the famous picture of the last supper you will notice one of the disciples looks like a female , the famous artist of this painting must have had similar thoughts when he painted it ? ADDED:

Rosslyn Chapel has been linked to everything from the Knights Templar to the lost ark of the covenant and the Holy Grail.

The DA Vinci code film claimed the Ark of the Covenant was buried in the crypt of Rosslyn chapel. The popularity of the film and its use of historical sites around Rome coupled with the known secrecy of the Vatican's archive, led many people to believe in the film's truth, to such an extent that the floor of the crypt at Rosslyn chapel was examined using ground penetrating radar but apart from the known burial's there, no Ark was found which went to prove if you make a film that appears to show the truth then enough people will actually believe it.
All of Dan Browns books and films of them paint a very realistic view of the events described, but people forget they are fiction.

By the different Masonic knowledge he does display he is able to do this, but must repeat he is not a Freemason, but he has certainly studied it or certain parts of it. One of the French Orders he talks about is not recognised by the G.L. Of England and I would think most other G.L.s as well and he is also aware of this. JS

    Re post # 33.
I accept more or less everything you have stated in your well written post John but in the case of the Press and Journal report of the SS Rubislaw it being an Aberdeen newspaper, in my opinion, wouldn't have taken any chances in over elaborating it's report. I am in agreement with what you say ' It's as near the truth as we will ever get'.
Re your post # 33 again, it's a coincidence that this year was the 33rd anniversary of the Piper Alpha horror and even in spite of the coronavirus over 70 people attended a Memorial service in Hazelhead Gardens, Aberdeen.

    Regards from
    Fouro.

#43.. That 70 I would imagine would be mainly family Fouro , the survivors must be thin on the ground by now 33 years later. I made my one and only pilgrimage 3 years ago on the 30 th anniversary. I believe there were 20 odd bodies unaccounted for , I may be wrong your more likely to know better than me and some of those missing bodies may account for some of the mourners, 70 is not many for for 167 deaths , but time takes its toll of everyone I suppose. Those who did survive the horrors will never be far away for them. Death itself doesn’t appear half as scary to those who have witnessed such and survived , knowing this their passing will be much easier. As nothing could be as bad as the way of going as their comrades did. With or without morphine , kismet or luck of the draw springs to mind. Cheers JS
