#2 going back to my own reply. As I see it. Superstition facts and theory at hand are up to the person to decipher what they want to believe. On the factual and written side of yore you have for example the Dead Sea Scrolls written before Christ or B.C. These have been translated and most appear in the modern version of King James Bible.
You also have Nostradamus writings who wrote when the world was also very small place with a lot still to discover and in 1551 wrote “ There wil be a twin year (2020.?) from which will arise a Queen
( Corona?) who will. Come from the east (China?) and who will spread a plague ( Virus ?) in the darkness of night on a country with 7 hills ( Italy?) and will transform the twilight of men into dust
( Death?), to destroy and ruin the world. It will be the end of world economy as you know it.”
This is also a translation. It is up to the individual how he reads or interprets these readings. And may cause consternation to many on what to believe. There is always a wisp at least of truth in most old writings , this of course excludes any old media releases . JS.
#7. You don’t mention anything about Brian walking under them Marian , are you frightened in case a pot of paint falls on his head, with his luck the lid would probably be off as well , and the contents red primer, no red lead these days . Cheers JS
Get well soon Brian, you should have done what I did, slap your hand down to absorb the shock, I now have a sore hand. LoL
I have always been slightly superstitious, and i read a book about a bloke who escaped from the Japs and made his way across Burma to safety, on the way every time he saw the moon he asked for it's guidance, and he changed direction when he thought the moon agreed, ever since then, if I happen to see the moon I do the same, so far I have only fallen over once. eeho eeho here comes the Ambulance

black friday went back to the templer days when the templers started the first banks the church owed the templers loads of dosh so rather than pay it back the pope outlawed the templers and had them hung on friday 13th 13hundred black friday?? jp
Cheers They were nearly all Frenchmen John . The ones that got away made it to Scotland and helped Robert the Bruce defeat the English. Hugo de Puyens the Templar leader was burned at The stake an innocent man. Philippe of France was in cahoots with the pope at the time he got his share as well. Maybe why the present fish lady of Scotland is so pro French it was her rellies that escaped . Cheers JS .
#17 In addition for your info. From the history of the Knights Templar .... to effect the overthrow of the Knights Templar was done by men professing the same Faith. Philip the Fair of France, and Pope Clement V , in the year 1307 both made a binding agreement to destroy the Order. Jacques de Molay was the Grand Master at the time.
He and and. 4 of his Knights were the last to be executed after 7 years in prison , on the 11th. March 1314. I have never tried to work out if that was Friday 13 th. If not there were hundreds if not thousands over the years for the Friday 13 th. No doubt. Cheers JS
Whilst de Molay was being burned at the stake in Paris in 1314 he shouted out summoning Phillip
IV and Pope Clements to meet him before God to answer for their crimes.
Both the King and Pope were dead within a year of the Master of the Templars death.
Regards from
Fouro.

Was it Friday the 13th. Fouro ? I could find out if asked but after 16 years a member of the Order , don’t want to appear too ignorant. As in every subject one never stops learning. Cheers JS.
