Worst accident I had, up a 60 foot gum tree turning it into a 20 foot gum tree with a chain saw.
Going great, all done, coming down miss the last step on the ladder, land a bit hard on the concrete edge and fracture the fifth metatarsal in my left foot.
Spent six months in a moon boot, doc said it will heal in six weeks if you sit still.

I can sympathise with the nail through the foot as had similar Brian and was accused later off swinging the lead. Do you think the albatross was trying to get rid of your bad luck by trying to hang round your neck ? You deserve some break from the hospital system by now , I made a point of never volunteering for anything and to all intents and purposes it has kept me with no broken bones touch wood up until now that is so hope your bad luck is not too communicable. Take care of those ladders and give a wide berth to. Don’t forget as a last resort toss some salt over the left shoulder, others might tell you different , but we all have to have faith in something.Cheers take care JS.
PS I do tell a fib I did have a broken nose twice but this wasn’t due to malpractice by the shipowner JS.
