Ee haw ee haw
In our news last night an article from Kenya.
Apparently Donkeys make up about half of the method of transport !!
But some are being kidnapped, slaughtered and the meat sent to China.
The Chinese then make Donkey burgers which are considered a delicasy there!!
Viewing the footage I got to thinking, here we are in the 21st century, can send men to the Moon and beyond, all the modern technology being used, yet for all of that half the world is living at a level not far removed from the Stone age.
Add to that China is to produce an electric vehicle so cheap it will kill off the more expensive models such as TESLA.
Maybe that is why the need the Donkey meat??

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Ee haw ee haw
Mauritius, one year the agent invited us all out for Sunday lunch, taxis picked us up, took us to posh hotel beside the beach.
We sat at tables on the verandam fighting the ants off.
We all ordered, seafood starter, steaks for mins.
Steak arrived, never seen anything like it, the meat was layered like plywood, I made a comment, followed by others. Agents reply, its DONKEY, its good, never seen so many plates pushed to one side.

Camel meat is good . had some on a Camel farm on one of our treks to Ularu
a Weekend in Borneo with the Dayaks we had Long Pig, when we got out the Consul told us it was Human meat, tasted like pork.
Had Ostrich in South Africa and also Alligator in OZ
Frogs in Java.
In WW2 we had horse meat quiet often
All tasted good.

Unless somebody has any further evidence, the official opinion of this is that human flesh tastes a bit like pork. Of course, to paraphrase Eddie Izzard, that means that pork tastes of human.
If anyone has eaten any human flesh recently, do feel free to let us know.

Keith,
Human flesh has the same taste, the same Texture as Pork difficult to tell the difference,.
Try it sometime, go to Borneo the Dayaks will help you if you are nice to them , if not they will try you.
Humans are known as Long Pig.
The event is in my story, `A Voyage To The Spice Islands`
