Casual Labour today is regulated more, there are costs to the Employer, where zero hours have no such costs.

Oh dear Lewis, the voice of doom monger.
Since Brexit a number of companies announced that they will be investing , bring jobs and boosting the economy.
Nisan have announced new models to be built in the UK, BMW have announced the building of the new electric Mini at Cowley.
As long as British products are competitive, well dsgned people will want them.
You forget one thing as all the Remoaners do, we import more goods from the EU than we sell, do you think manufacturers will do anything that will damage their sales?
The EU are terrified that the UK will make successful of Brexit and that is the reason why they are trying to punish the UK. If the UK is successful other countries will depart the UK.

Vic
i would think anyone working for a zero hour firm is only filling in until finding a regular job? when we have gone from the EU you may find our manufacturing industries will start producing many things we need even small firms will start up if we need anything make it here? jp
###that is one of our main reasons john for getting out ...we can do it our self ...we are a nation of entrepreneurs we have given the world so much ....both in freedom of thought and the inspiration and gall to never be put down......especially by the nations running the euro thing...the germans are crapping apples as to who will keep it afloat when we are out they will dump on the rest of europe and fill there boots ....what we are doing is right .......cappy
cappy first thing is buy everything that is owned by other countries here own them ourselves total independent to Europe owe them nothing to many foreign fingers up our ar.es put the great in Britain again look forward never back we were just wanted for money in the eu we had no say in anything we just propped up skint countries for Angela brownie points ? jp
Whilst we are in the EU, we can only trade with countries that the EU has a trade treaty.
There is a company down south that makes hovercraft, ideal for travelling over seas, and swampy grounds. Brazil wanted to buy some, the company had to decline the sales because there are no trade deals with the EU and Brazil.

Food and Drink exports from the UK rose to £10.2b an increase of 8.5%
No.1 Scotch Whisky
No. 2 Salmon.
No.3 Beer
No.4 Chocolate
No.5 Cheese.
So its not all doom and gloom.
Ireland and France are two of Europes biggest importers of UK food.

vic for some things they will have to deal with this country if say an aeroplane needs a new engine and is grounded in Europe who will supply a new rolls engine for it or does it stay on the ground things like that? they will not and cant turn their backs on this country we are open for business . we had an embargo with Rhodesia but electronics supplied by us name slips my mind but the product was called tarmigan Marconi made it for them I was working in the man who put it all together and signed it of he was an old fella worked on radar during the war and they could not understand why birds were all around the masts dead? the first radar was microwaves that's were your ovens come from? he retired on the Friday and had to be taken back on the following Monday it was that secret it was for air defence? I think I have just broken the official secrets act but never mind long time ago now? jp
Vic you are a man I enjoy reading most of your posts, but come on Vic why would the Irish (a very small economy)want to be buying Scotch Whisky, Salmon, Beer and Cheese when they have their own which by the way they export world wide , come on get real here. The population of the whole of Ireland N&S is less than 6 million. Now I know the paddies like a drink but if the UK is relying on Beer , Whiskey sales to keep the UK economy afloat ffs get real, oh forgot they also have a very large Salmon industry.
lewis Guinness smuggling will be rife{thank god}and poteen working a lot with the irish drank a bit when I was drinking of old joe duggan rest his soul hope they never cremated him ?
