Cappy today you seem to see more people who have no moral fibre or backbone. How this came about I still wonder at times. I can only put most of it down to parents being too indulgent to their children, for whatever reason. Myself I always believed there should always be at least one parent present during their adolescence.I was lucky as we lived on one wage and their mother was always there for them. Today they seem to have not that choice. The women want to be men and the men want to be women. All the roles and the way of life as I knew it seem to be in denial. Today's manner of bringing up children and teaching them right from wrong has mostly been taken out of the parents and grandparents hands by various do Gooders who say it is for the child's benefit, and is totally alien to me. john i couldnt agree more when ever did it become into this state of affairs .....that the moral fibre seems to be dissapering from all around not only from some of the younger generation ..but older as well expecting everything to be put right for them.....no discipline in schools or at home .....every loser is backed as a poor misunderstood hard done to little man who has no one looking out for him ....up speak the charlatans give him this give him that .....but why dont they give something they protest on the most moral and holy ground ...but do zilch ...i have said on the site many times the carpers carp but give nothing but themselves a holier than thou glow....bloody sickening to listen to ...cappy
Ref 35' I agree there John, as I have posted recently, my niece started work in the school, kids in their final years for some, not all, but a lot of them completely out of control. Requested in class to stop their disruptive behaviour, answer ,No, then told to leave the class room for time out as it is called, answer No, what the hell can she do then ?, just call another member of staff for back up. But still no action. The idea was to have recording cameras in the class so parents could be shown when their child is disruptive, parents refused to grant permission for that. That was NOT a statement, I was just wondering, Big Difference.
I am surrounded by them here, of 18 houses only four have workers in them, most of my neighbours they are proud of the fact that they get more money in Benefits than they do when they were working, and all Tax Free,
when I have to pay a lot of Tax on my miserable MN Pension that I bought and paid for with my own money, even my State Pension is Taxed. so if they start taxing the Benefits as an income then I would be happy with that.

keith i have been retired 17 years ...even before that i had kids who could not read or write or do any number apply for jobs sent by the different governmental authorities of the day ie yops or other wondrous time wating money consuming out fits ......this after what was a truly great educational system ...but no discipline.then let it all fall down ..and the ones who wanted a good education..were dragged down ......the grammer schools would have solved that the ones who wanted to learn could have done so ....but no keep every body on one level make us all the same ie lois the flys and others beliefs well its all coming home to roost now ..a vast underclass of unemployable youth ......sucking the nation dry but blaming everyone but themselves ,,,backed up by the greatest betrayer since judas ....bellowing give every body everything......funny enough with the same initials JC but no idea of who will finance the lunacy.......sad for a country that once led the world...cappy
