####i have in the last few months seen various accidents on pavements and yesterday in a supermarket... of people in these electric cars with three wheels tear arcing about bumping into peoples legs and knocking them over or even breaking there limbs on some occasions .....do you neeed a licence or do you just have to be an obese person to use them they hurtle round without a warning beep or consideration for anyone who gets in there way ......are they given free as a benefit to these fatties as mainly they are fatties i am not discriminating i am only saying what i see ...yesterday in tescos an extremely fat woman on a red one lost control or the pedal stuck and she carreerd across an isle hiting three people one falling to the ground........bounced of a coke promotion sending cans in all directionsand hit the confection carousel sending cakes in all directions......do these contraptions have gears or not ...does anyone have experience of these vehicles on the site and is tuition given or are they just .let off to run free thy should be taxed and have to have insurance.....this is my view ....cappy

cappy same as bike riders they go through red traffic light ride on pavements and these little electric things we have a shopping centre its like the brands hatch and they don't care if you are in the way the kids want to get me one no thanks? jp

####cheers keith exactly what i saw yesterday .....she seemed to not understand what was happening ..the woman who fell was in shock ..they appear to not have any training...and they seeem to multiply weekly .....wonder if anyone on the site has one ...regards cappy

People can hire the bluddy things from a number of outlets in Torquay and you don't have to be disabled, just bluddy lazy and the riders think they own the pavement and some shout 'get out of the way' I don't begrudge anyone having one who really needs one, especially in Torquay built on seven hills (like Rome it ain't!), but it appears all and sundry can hire them, we even have tandem ones

John ref 3, i have a problem with cyclists using the pavement, now i am a bit deaf, and they come whizzing up behind you, if you happen to walk just a bit right or left, they will have you rs over head, kt

Mentioning cyclists creeping upon people,what about these electric cars I take it they will also be noiseless,how would deaf people know they were coming.i walk my dog every day olong country roads and you do not know they are there until they are on top of you,they haven't got the sense to let you know as they do not have bells to ring.I may be wrong but has every cycle sold to have a bell provided,maybe someone can enlighten me.
