Well Des, to say the least, that would have been an excellent title for a non racist show.

In my experience a lot of people didn't mind being called W.O.Gs, as in their eyes
it stood for Westernised Oriental Gentlemen......F.
The word w,o.g. came from India for the Dock workers, They only wore the Dhoti, a sarong, no pockets so they would lose theior pass for the Dock Yards, so they had the initials W.O.G. Tattooed on the hands, so they just showed their hands to the security man. the initials mean ,,, Worker Of Government.
they were very proud of that, "I am a very good W*G Sahib" was what they told me in Madras in 1952.
but some stupid PC , GREEN TREE HUGGING HALF WIT with no experience of the world has changed it to suit their nefarious ends.

The reason for the ***'s is that a number of years ago this site was hacked by persons of that religion and sever since I believe the site automatically (or the moderators) replace that word with the asterisks in an attempt to prevent naughty people of a certain religion picking up on the phrase and hacking the site again.

As the Glaswegian is walking away from just giving the Sassenach a Glesga Kiss, he hears in the distance the Sassenach shouting at him, "The problem with Scotland is, it's full of bloody Porridge **** like you, you Dratsab".

Many people here don't understand why the things in Europe are happening right now...
Also as an aside in one of my dealings with an immigration officer here (most are much more friendly and normal than the press give them credit for), he asked how much my wife and I had spent on my Green card and adjustment of status fees so far, when I replied he smiled and said "You know if you'd got a suntan and hid in the back of a cross border truck we'd be giving you you for free?"
I just smiled in case it was a sneaky trap question and I guess he risked his job by saying something like that but I think he was genuine.

73 and I'm Tired
By: Robert A. Hall
I'm 73
Except for one
semester in college when jobs were scarce and a
six-month period when I was between jobs, but
job-hunting every day, I've worked,
hard, since I was 18.
Despite some health challenges, I still put in
50-hour weeks, and haven't called in sick in
seven or eight years. I make a good salary, but
I didn't inherit my job or my income, and I
worked to get where I am. Given the economy,
there's no retirement in sight, and I'm tired.
Very tired.
I'm tired of being told
that I have to "spread the wealth" to people who
don't have my work ethic. I'm tired of being
told the government will take the money I
earned, by force if necessary, and give it to
people too lazy to earn it.
I'm tired of being told
that ***** is a "Religion of Peace," when every
day I can read dozens of stories of ****** men
killing their sisters, wives and daughters for
their family "honor"; of ******s rioting over
some slight offense; of ******s murdering
Christian and Jews because they aren't
"believers;" of ******s burning schools for
girls; of ******s stoning teenage rape victims
to death for "adultery;" of ******s mutilating
the genitals of little girls; all in the name of
Allah, because the Qur'an and Shari???a law tells them to.
I'm tired of being told
that, out of "tolerance for other cultures," we
must let Saudi Arabia use our oil money to fund
mosques and mandrassa Islamic schools to preach
hate in America and Canada , while no American
nor Canadian group is allowed to fund a church,
synagogue or religious school in Saudi Arabia to
teach love and tolerance..
I'm tired of being told I
must lower my living standard to fight global
warming, which no one is allowed to debate.
I'm tired of being told
that drug addicts have a disease, and I must
help support and treat them, and pay for the
damage they do. Did a giant germ rush out of a
dark alley, grab them, and stuff white powder up
their noses while they tried to fight it off?
I'm tired of hearing
wealthy athletes, entertainers and politicians
of both parties talking about innocent mistakes,
stupid mistakes or youthful mistakes, when we
all know they think their only mistake was
getting caught. I'm tired of people with a sense
of entitlement, rich or poor.
I'm real tired of people who
don't take responsibility for their lives and
actions. I'm tired of hearing them blame the
government, or discrimination or big-whatever
for their problems.
Yes, I'm damn tired. But I'm also glad to
be 73.. Because, mostly, I'm not going to have
to see the world these people are making. I'm
just sorry for my granddaughters and grandson.

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless
each of us sends it on!
This is your chance to make a difference.

As a postscript to #37, a few years ago I visited New York for a birthday treat with one of my son's in law. After a scary moment waiting to pass security when my phone rang and I was threatened with deportation by a gun toting female police officer, we arrived at immigration. The officer began chatting about the way us 'Brits' regarded our immigration policy and remarked 'if they can't speak American they don't get past me and I want to see the white's of their eyes'. He was white. As we passed through he glanced again at my passport and wished me happy birthday.
