I sat and waited as it was downloading and its just started now to show on Screen ,so can atch while it finishes downloading! I want to keep this one!
So open it again and just let it sit,i am sure it will start it took me about 10 Minutes before it actually started!
Oh Boy looks good!

Starts with four riders chasing a Horse with saddle and no person on it!
Will let it run!

Quality not too good but hopefully the download which is in a better format will be better!

Hi All.
90% of the houses down here in Cooma were built for the workers on the big Snowy Hydro Electric scheme in the 50s and 60s. It beat the tents that they used with snow five feet high around them, the houses were imported I think from Italy but using hardwood from Norway
Some fibro covered,some like ours weatherboard, which is now covered over with insulated plastic weatherboard, warm as toast in winter cool as in summer, that is if you have air conditioning like we have. They will never ever deteriorate, to say that the hardwood is hard try this, an electrician came to put a new circuit in for the air-con, he burnt out three bits just trying to get through the top plate had to get a tungsten
one and just got through but the bit was useless after. they say that white ant wont touch it, I hope so. We have an iron roof with two layers of bats in the ceiling. Ugly houses but efficient. This was taken in 2005 garden now lovely after a lot of hard work. My daughters drawing of a dog got in some how.

One of my Aunts lived in a pre-fab for many years after the war and I went there for holidays just outside Leicester in a place called Birstal ( not borstal). How many can remember their first home after getting spliced. I was 25 and had a few quid in the bank 640 to be exact, which was considered quite good in those days of 1962. The first house was 2,400 pounds so was 240 pounds plus a mortgage, the remaining money was the outlay on furniture, not fitted carpets in those days but lino, and got a rug if anything left over. Paid for everything but the stair carpet which had to get on Hire purchase not an easy thing getting credit in those days as had to prove you could pay back. It was then a week in London, and then back to sea for about 12 months, luckily saw the wife in Hamburg half way through, and was the time I forgot I was married. The rest of life was a continuous paying off mortgages. G plan furniture and all the trimming of the days are long gone now but think everyone of those times had to struggle for what they got, was the biggest load off my mind when the never ceasing mortgage payments were made and one was free of a banks clutches. They still have the nerve to offer all sorts of money for loans, and that's where I now get my kicks by saying thanks for the offer but no thanks. JS

#33 When we were kids every Saturday morning we went to "The Flicks" there was always someone who didn't have enough money to get in ("six pence", 2.5p today) so one would pay to go in then go straight to the toilets and open the window, the others would give the skint one a leg up through the window then return to pay for their entrance. Thats what friends were for in those days. cheers JC.

#36 £640 was a lot of money to have in 1962 and you made good use of it. I got married in 1962 and eventually bought my house in 1968 for £4,500 and I've lived here ever since, it's a lovely house with a nice feel to it and it's in a good area that is much the same
after all of these years. I doubled up my mortgage payments whenever I could by working every hours overtime I could get and the
mortgage was paid off early and it was a great feeling to know the house was ours for real. I haven't had to pay back anything now
for nearly 30 years, and all the hard work I put in earlier has paid off handsomely in my later years. cheers, JC.

#29 Glad you've found it doc, I saw it in 1962 shortly after I got married and can remember we went into a fish & chip restaurant afterwards for a fish & chips supper, it doesn't seem anything like 53 years ago, so the saying "life is to short" rings true. I've never
forgotten that film and I've never seen it since, hope you enjoy it. Unfortunately I can't use those download sites where you get the
films as being deaf I can only watch subtitled films, I get by fine with my recorder and DVD's which are mostly captioned so I don't
