Re: The Graveyard Watch
Middle watch was the proper name for it. The graveyard watch was the misnomer. From the middle watch was the morning watch, then . The forenoon watch, then the afternoon watch , then the dog watches, then the evening watch. JS .

Re: The Graveyard Watch
Looking at some of these earlier posts which slipped by without noticing, see the one by Louis and his theory about ladies passing away in the toilet, would like to ask him belatedly was it him that wrote the song “ Oh Dear what can the matter be two old ladies locked in the lavatory , they’ve been there from Monday till Saturday , nobody knew they were there“. And does he hold the patent for the song ? JS

Re: The Graveyard Watch
Hi Fouro.
Did you have pneumonia as a child? Just asking this as I went into hospital about six months ago with it, it was during a touch of Covid, the Dr said, without me telling him that I had double Pneumonia as a child., Covid is not good for it.

Dog watch.
Mate we have to watch the bloody dog next door every time we go outside.
Bludger knows when to bark as well, keeps people awake at night.
