Climate Change

The climate in Bolton has never changed in the last 84 years I have been here.
The seasons have come and gone, still the same. an Occasional extra cold winter now and again and an occasional milder winter in between. same as Summers, some occasional very hot summers and mild summers in between.
The plants and trees in my garden for the last 57 years I have lived here are perfectly normal, I have just finished harvesting my apples, nice juicy Four Inches in Diameter, as usual. A good crop this year, There is a Very good crop every three years on a cycle, and a good crop in between, My Victoria Plum trees have produced a good crop as usual, nice sweet juicy plums, and my Fig tree only three years old, produced some nice Figs this year.
The leaves on the Sycamore Trees have lost their lustre and will start to fall in the next 2 to 3 weeks as usual. It is Autumn.
WHERE IS THE CLIMATE CHANGE??????

Captain as I have posted. Greenland, Alaska, other parts of the Arctic Regions, tidal flows effected by the arctic flow. Eastern seaboard of the U.S.A.. I repeat, the map in my post gives a map of the tidal flows that will effect weather changes. Climate changes are not effecting the world evenly. The seas in these areas have risen and are projected to continue rising. The world is not a giant bowl filled with water and thus the surface being equal, it is dependent on tidal flows and some regions have higher ocean levels (due to the tide flow/pattern) than areas outside of said tidal flows. These tidal flows are suffering from the flow of fresh water from melting LAND ICE and the warmth that is adding to the ocean that partly causes the change in weather patterns plus water elevation.

Ultimately, it will effect everybody due to commerce and international relations, i.e. do we let India, African nations, parts of Europe, the Americas starve? but how do we do that if parts of the U.S., Canada, etc. have regional climate problems problems too.

To some extent there is truth in what Rodders says, but in my humble opinion water will find it's own level regardless of where it is.
Additional water in one part of the globe will in time even out across the globe.

No doubt you have all seen the 'Climate extremists; currently causing havoc in may large cities, we have them here in Oz.

The female leader in Melbourne, a lady of about 40, was interviewed on radio.

The interview went like this.

'Why are you protesting?'

'We want the gov to close all our coal mines, coal is dangerous'.??

'If we do not sell coal to China and India they will go to other countries where the coal is not as good as the coal here, coal full of Sulphur which is worse than the clean coal here'

'No if we stop they will not buy from any other country"

'Thinking like that shows how out of touch you are with reality, China and India will buy from others to keep industry going,If we do not sell the coal there will be no revenue so no money for schools, hospitals etc.'

'We area very rich country and we do not need the money from coal, all we need to do is to spread the wealth of the nation evenly so all citizens get the same amount".

But this brings to mind an article in our Sunday paper a couple of weeks ago written by an ex PM assistant.
As she said this is more to do with a left wing movement attempting to get the Socialist message across, the 'New Style Religion' she put it'

This is where the problem lies along with the media.
Rodders in a previous posting said the one put by Kong was made up of 'cherry picking' the subject by the non believers.

How do we know that the scientists and the media do not do the same thing?

As said previously the media only print or show articles that will shock, they do not have to be true.

John, many hypocrites among them; BBC interviewed two yesterday, the first a mature woman from Hull, "how did you get here?" was the question, "came in my van", "what fuel does it use?" -"DIESEL" was the answer.

Fossil fuels include coal, oil, and natural gas. Since these energy sources were formed over millions of years from the decomposition of carbon-based life forms such as ourselves, these resources are completely non-renewable over the course of reasonable time frames. Furthermore, the extraction and burning of them for energy pollutes air, water, and soil alike, negatively affecting the natural world, flora, fauna, and humanity included. This effect can mean extinction for certain animals and plants, as well as diseases, birth defects, and death for humans. Every living thing deserves the right to a clean living environment. This statement means a clean place to live, clean air to breathe, clean water, and a clean place to reproduce. With widespread fossil fuel use, these basic rights have been diminished for living things, especially in the countries where the dependence on fossil fuel for energy is virtually absolute. Over the course of time, countries such as Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have become essentially 100% reliant on the non-renewable fossil fuel resources harming our planet. The Worst Offenders
At least 29 countries source more than 90% of their energy from fossil fuels, including coal, oil, gasoline, and natural gas. The consumption rate seems to be rising most sharply in developing economies with or near rich oil reserves, such as India and Singapore, over the last ten years. There is good news, though, as global dependence on fossil fuels has dropped relative to total energy use since 1971, and the trend is likely to continue as nations convert to greater utilization of renewable resources for energy.

Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Brunei Darussalam are all currently completely dependent on fossil fuels for energy. In these places, there is a pressing need for far-reaching reform policies to educate their populations about the effects that fossil fuel consumption has on the rest of the world, and how long these effects last, and, most importantly, a diversification of energy sources to include more renewable means.
Change is Possible
There have been changes observed in the consumption of fossil fuels that point to better prospects for the future of energy infrastructures and environmental health alike. For example, Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina have both significantly decreased their fossil fuel dependence over the last ten years, which points to the possibility of more fossil fuel dependent countries learning about and using renewable resources to help meet their energy needs.
Renewable energy sources are an option for those countries that are completely dependent on fossil fuels. These can include hydroelectricity in areas that have rivers, wind-powered turbine generators in areas with expansive land that is unusable for crops or wildlife, and solar panels that can cover large areas of desert land or even be fixed atop structures. Renewable energy is a way to wean fossil fuel-dependent countries off of non-renewable resources, hedge energy infrastructures for a future sans petrochemical availability, and teach them how to help save the planet from further global destruction.

I was thinking of Crematoria , How many crematoriums are there,? how many Millions of bodies are burned every year , smoke and gasses pouring into the atmosphere,
How much does all that affect the climate.??????
Some countries such as India have a 95% cremation rate.
The cremation takes between 90 minutes and 3 hours depending on the size and age of the person.
also the temperature is 1,000 c. THAT IS A LOT OF HEAT.
