No you are getting it all wrong. Chow-Chow is the Indian name for curry, I think that you are thinking of "Hot Dogs", Take care........Terry:rolleyes:

Glad to be back in the U.K. In the midst of selling house to purchase small bungalow as W.R. had another slight attack at the hospital when seeing consultant. If we are successful will be closer to our daughter Jane.
Now waiting to see a knee specialist due to being stupid (what merchant seaman wasn't?) as fell off chair lift when skiing. Actually think my N0 1 son pushed me, only joking I hope. The bloke wko helped me up 'a very, very nice man ' thought I was another old Englishman that shouldn't be allowed out without his minders.
Anyway lads just to say 'ello to you lot as I do miss you when not in contact. I suppose its something like a sore thumb.
Weather here is very nice sun shining and very little breeze, but at 0600 hrs there was a hard frost. Have booked to take W.R. to Holland to see the Keukenhoff Gardens as its been a few years since visiting so will have to beg some more leave from you bridge crowd.
Hope all you lads in Oz are in the pink and keeping well. Hope your eyes are improving Vernon and that John from Victoria is still dispensing drinks. Went to the same school as Les from Newcastle tho a couple of years before him. Hey Neville suppose all those 'snowbirds' will be leaving Florida about now so the Brits can fly in for their yearly dose of Disney. To my Welsh Kiwis I suppose you are all preparing for winter, with a bit of luck from the lottery I might join you as they say the skiing is great down there.
Hope Den is off the golf course by now as must of got a few holes in one! When I get back aboard I'll bring a fresh supply of celery for Les B Anne and her mate Gulliver along with a few leeks for our Witches on the foredeck. They're nice for thrashing as they leave a distinctive smell as any Taff will tell you. Presume George is still active and chasing those bellbottomed leading hands (feminine variety) and that Alf is still moving us in circles. Hey musn't forget Frank in Leith as he was having his eyes seen to so hope everthing A O K. And of course can't forget Daibach in Llanelly who is trying to catch up Vernon with his amount of postings.

Welcome back Mike. Nice report.Hope you are feeling better.You really should keep the guard down when riding chair lifts you know.Or maybe you fell off when loading or unloading. Also not good to drink while skiing!!!

Hi Den. Yess I will be doing some Tab-Nabs tomorrow. The other day I baked a Brandy Sponge for my Daughter for her birthday, ( went down well ) do you think that the Taffy's would like it? Take care.....Terry:rolleyes:
