    Default Mike 'Flag' Hall

Mike have you caught the latest chat with ref., to you signing on as a sailmaker and using the spare 3/4's of the 'Duster' to put all our motifs on. I will keep you out of mischief and what with the occasional tankard of '16 B's' washing down Den's tabnabs and Terry's other culinary delights before you know it we'll be in Kiwi. Must go and have a lie down as we've had at least 1/2 inch of snow and as usual no ones been prepared for it. Mike

P/s. Wheres the Skipper got to?

    Default Suez Canal G.B.L.A.

Going through the Suez Canel on the Virtual Ship, reminded me of the time I was on the Port Invercargill in the 6 day war 1968 and eating Irish Stew from on of the Blue Funnel ships that were trapped in the Great Bitter Lakes, seeing that we have it on the menu, does anyone remember that??? Well now that we have lost Den, I had better get back to the Galley... Take care and keep taking those salt tablets.

I think we have a problem, Alf is missing, not at the wheel. Last time we saw him he was lashed to it now he has been replaced with a refugee guy from last bonfire night. I know he was getting a bit thin as he was not eating the tabnabs made especialy for him, so maybe he slipped out of the harness. But where is he, off to las Palmas to see Doris? Or is he still on Lesbos in the hope his luck will change?

Hope Terry is managing in the Galley? bet the crew are missing my tabnabs?

Yuo better keep swimming mate. We're sling a ladder over the side for you to climb aboard. Better put it in the Guiness book as thats one hell of a swim from the Pacific thru to the Red Sea. Which way are you going Den via the canal or round the Horn? Have a new order in for 1/2 million tabnabs to create a staircase up Table Mountain so you can leave out rum a dum dum. Anyway you enjoy your swim just have some navigation lights showing so we don't run over you. Mike

Think I will come via the canal. That way I can hitch a ride part of the way on a mule.
Funny you talk about having navigation lights. Had a dream last night that I was floating around at sea in the dark!Waste of a dream, could have been with some sex starved bird. Dont say it, I know. She would still be starving.
Half a million tabnabs may be too big an order even for me.Have to have a few rums and think on it.
    Den.
