Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
Hi Hugh,
I have been away for awhile but glad to be back.
The information you provided should be helpful. I am waiting for the information from my dad’s seamen’s pouch from the National Archives UK. Should get it soon. Not sure what information is in the 5 pages they are sending.

Terry Hugh hasn’t been on site for a number of months now and unless he looks in from time to time you may have a longer wait than normal. Unless he is on another site it may be worth your while to try and find which one, may even be his own ? Hope you can make contact with him. Cheers JS

Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
Thanks JS for the info about Hugh.
I did receive papers from my father’s seamen’s pouch from National Archives UK. Unfortunately nothing about his stay in Gibraltar after the Hampton lodge was sunk in 1943.
Hopefully, someone get point me in the right direction where I get more information.
I would really appreciate it!

Re: Hampton Lodge Merchant Navy Ship 1942
Hello Terry
Hugh had decided a long time back now that he was not going to take part here any longer, this could change i guess , he is still a registered Member, but as said for Months now he has not even looked in!
Shame really!
You say that you received the Seamans Pouch Papers Terry, that would not give much, you would want to get his CRS10 which will hold all his Sea time Service, Giving Ships Numbers and a lot more info!
The Link is here

Cheers

#36 Your welcome Terry. There are other sites that you may catch him the only one I know though to try is Ships Nostalgia as was there for a couple of weeks in 2008 but was not what I was looking for. Best of luck. JS
