Anybody out there who sailed on the Thirlby 1973 May to September, Abadan to Falmouth?

I did the final voyage on the MV Thirlby, sold to the Greeks. Oil tanker with a mid-ships accommodation.

Hi Clive, I sailed on the final voyage to piraeus, I joined the thirlby as a first tripper in December 1980 as a junior catering rating , I think I remember you as a mad John Lennon music lover is that you, cheers Paul
