Re: New Pope.
Hi Ivan....
well I am a lapsed Catholic and take the view that I am a Christian foremost and simply believe the Christian view is a humanitarian one. It's teachings are basically one of tolerance. Much as (I believe) many other religions are.
But as always...there is one notable exception. And I will never, ever, succumb to their hatred and intolerance towards the rest of the world. A religion made by the devil himself.

Re: New Pope.
Steve, so true.
Religion we were taught was for the betterment of mans eternal soul, if he has one, and the good of all.
If you live by the ten commandments then you would live a good and honest life, nothing wrong with that.
But at some time most religion's have been involved with a war of some kind.
Going back in the early days of the bible you can see evidence of that.
The Pope now says stop all wars, be kind to your neighbor.
That is surely the basic teaching of all Christian religions, but then some idiots decide the religion they follow is one of hate and violence.
As long as such are around there will never be a fully peaceful world.

Looks like we were made from the same mould, although I may have strayed from the path, especially in Chile!

Can you post a link as to when Trump donated $14 million towards the costs of Pope Francis funeral costs? Also who these so called American Millionaires wined and dined Cardinals before the conclave. Simply to say I believe !!! sounds like something from a fake news channel, perhaps GB News , they are often in court for broadcasting Fake News
