Riots in the UK

I do not think that the majority of the public are for the riots. I strongly believe that the general public are hoping that the riots will put some back bone into the elected ones. Of course this is not going to happen. Watched Starmar the other day sprucking about it being the far right lot. Just blame the far right and that gets him of the hook. It is the same here. Any disruption and of course it is either the far right or far left to blame. Using that old chestnut means that they do not have to do feck all about and wait until the dust settles. The back to the bar for another round. Mind you I do notice that some on site use the same chestnut excuse if the thread does not suit them lol.

Tommy Robinson accused of stoking far-right riots as he posts 'from five-star Cyprus hotel' - A warrant was issued for Robinson’s arrest after he did not attend a court hearing.No doubt some may not agree . Perhaps the poor chap is just beingb picked on.:rolleyes:

A little twist about what is happening in the UK, Where is th new King in all of this,? Haven't hard him call on his subjects to desist with all this rioting, or he will call out his army, Ho! sorry he hasn't got one.

I knew a Freddie Lamb the same name as yourself. Your father wasn’t a shipmaster was he. ? This one was master with Walter Runcimans. I was an apprentice at the time and if remember correctly he would never have Lamb on the menu had to be written in as mutton. #13 The king has requested that he is kept informed as to the situation.Also to be fair to King Charles he is still recieveing treatment for Cancer. His daughter inlaw the princess of Wales also is or was recieving treatment for cancer. Add that to a wayward son living in the USA at at 76 he has a lot on his plate.

Last night there was meant to be 100+ riots in cities around the U.K.
What actually happened was one of two minor scuffles in parts of London.
The government and police are claiming it as a win for their policy of having thousands of police out on the streets.
Yet the real reason for the lack of violent protests was down to a message on the internet telling people that there would be all those riots which has been proven to be fake news, basically to fool everyone that there was going to be a night of violence throughout the country which led to businesses shutting early and putting up shutters etc over their windows and doors.
