As long as he stays in that position and knows his variation will be an easy sum to calculate his deviation. JS.

#17 I have never bothered to read any. American or Judith Curry’s version of climate change , I’m just repeating what every celestial navigator knows about the universe and adding 2 and 2 together . Weather, star, and any celestial navigation if you don’t know and belief in the basics you must have had a hard time in making your way around the world. That is before computers appeared on the scene that is. Cheers JS

hi john sabourn #16
good afternoon, I watched a program last night on the very subject, and your analogy of the ( very brains of the century ) is in line with the basis and argument of the subject matter ie climate change that the program was about , They pointed out that the professionals and academics whom are shouting the loudest about their opinion on climate change and what is going to happen, And which is all based on computer projections, ( which by the way is Theoretics and that it is unproven imformation they are uploading into their computers ) The program went on to point out that when learned academics point out that the computer projections together with that Theoretic imformation cannot be proven, The climate lobby starts to shut them down and call them deniers or even worse. And the main reason is because of the amount of money there is swilling around for the pigs to get their snouts into.

Re: WE have now copped it
Hi Thomas.
I don't read to much about the climate lobby, what I want to know is when this bloody weather is going to settle down. It's two months until an Aussie Xmas and it was minus bloody 2 again last night with heavy snow in the local Alps.
Now Cappy will be on talking about winging Aussies.

Re: WE have now copped it
One of the major problems with all of this is the use of the computer.
The experts, that is a guess in a tuxedo, will tell you that,
'Our computer modeling will see Father Christmas come down your chimney an hour earlier this year due to an abundance of snow somewhere in China'
Rubbish in, rubbish out is the form of the computer.
It is then supplemented by the media who have a field day scaring the life out of half the population.
Good example is the latest Covid figures from a cruise ship here in Oz.
According to the media there were some 4000 cases of it on board.
Cruise company hit back via medical sources who stated some 100 were treated for it out of the 4000 on board.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: WE have now copped it
Screams at present about the starving in Africa, particularly around the Horn of the country.
But wait, back in the 50's we paid a penny each Monday for the black babies of Africa.
At that time most of the countries were held by others, and they were doing well.
Then came republicanism and look at some now.
Ruled by dictators who care only for the army that keeps them in power.
These do good people know little or nothing of history and one only has to look at so many other countries that have done nothing to bring them into the 21st century.
Still living similar to the way of 2000 years ago, and some feel sorry for them.
We pay billions in aid and they do nothing.
Their condition is nothing to do with the climate, rather the climate of those who run these countries.
Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: WE have now copped it
Well again here is Weather madness happening, in what is normally a good time of Yera here!
We are again being Hit by a very cold Artic Blast, with Freezing conditions and even Snow!
What on Earth is going on!!!
Over to you John in Oz LOL
An Antarctic blast is set to hit Australia's south-east bringing frost and cold winds - with Tasmania already being inundated with snowfall.
The unseasonably chilly weather has been sparked by a low pressure system pushing a cold 'blob' of air up from the Southern Ocean towards Australia.
Chilly conditions are being felt in Victoria and Tasmania on Tuesday afternoon, with the airmass expected to reach NSW on Wednesday morning and last until Thursday.
Weatherzone meteorologist Steph Spackman told Daily Mail Australia: 'The cold weather is pushing into eastern Victoria and starting to encroach across the border to NSW.'
'It should penetrate NSW mid-tomorrow morning. It will still be cold in Victoria, Tasmania and the south-east but that system will eventually retreat.'
Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!
And not to forget the Horror of all the Floods that have caused so much Pain and Destruction to so many Families! Oh i do feel so sorry for all that have been afected! Stay Strong and God Bless !
