Not sure about Europe and UK but here in Oz the greater majority of our prawns, not the ones in parliament, along with Salmon, Trout and Cod are now farmed.
Cheaper and more efficient that fishing for them.

john I think one well known singer still has a fish farm in Scotland. I think{not sure} its Rodger doltry ?? jp
