    Retire??

I am head cook, I do three mornings a week as a volunteer, half the weekly shop, most of the driving Terri had a bung knee, most of the gardening, our back garden is 300 square meters and front about 150.

So James you may be taking an easy life, but some of us still do our bit.
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Ditto John as in the same position. Cook, cleaner, driver, general dogsbody and carer for SWMBO (She Who Must Be Obeyed). The sheriff beat me to the retirement bit but still glad to have her as a boss lol.
That's the way the mop flops.

My thanks to Brian for this site.

#121#122 Are you betting paid for helping around the house , cooking cleaning and going for the shopping. That is not a job it is part and parcel of married life, get over it. When you married most of us took these vows

    I, (name), take you, (name)
    to be my wife/husband,
    to have and to hold
    from this day forward;
    for better, for worse,
    for richer, for poorer,
    in sickness and in health,
    to love and to cherish,
    till death us do part,
    according to God’s holy law.
In the presence of God I make this vow.

So when you pack in paid employment you retire.
Being retired does not mean sitting on your **** and waiting on the grim reaper tapping your door.

#121 No John not taking an easy life just getting on as best I can. I am a lucky man I married a girl who thankfully has a bit of get up and go.

Good on ya James, well said.

Looking at the Gaza news on TV last night and a thought crossed my mind.
There are the people crying for food, reliant of UN dropping in supplies.

Then I looked and saw the beach, Gaza is on the Medi, have they not considered throwing a line out to catch some fish??

John the Medi was fished out years ago, did you see the stampedes in Gaza today.
Today in Gaza, a tragic incident unfolded as Palestinians sought access to food convoys. According to Palestinian health authorities, at least 112 people were killed, and 280 others were injured. The incident occurred on the coastal road on the south-west edge of Gaza City, where an aid convoy was moving towards the city center. This area had experienced rare food deliveries, with the first shipments arriving in over a month, escorted by NGO aid and Israeli forces1.

Witnesses reported that Israeli troops opened fire on a crowd of hungry Palestinians who were pulling boxes of flour and canned food off the aid trucks. The shooting initially scattered the crowd, but when it ceased, Gazans returned to the trucks, and the soldiers opened fire again. Most of the injuries were caused by bullet wounds, and some casualties were brought to the hospital on donkey carts due to a shortage of ambulances1.

The Israeli authorities’ account of events evolved throughout the day. Initially, they attributed the deaths to a stampede resulting from pushing, trampling, and being run over by the trucks. Later, they clarified that their forces had fired upon a crowd that posed a threat after the aid convoy had moved on. The death toll provided by Palestinian authorities was also questioned by Israeli officials.

Opening fire on people fighting to get food to feed families.

James, according to one source the bullet holes in the bodies was from the stampede.
Claim it is from knives attempting to open the food.

Only that lot from Notayahoo could make up such crap.

Them Israeli's will by killing hundreds of innocent people at music festivals next, and taking hostages. If you want the truth, ask the Hamas government of Palestine, because they're the only decent people in all of this.

Over all these messages, can anybody explain to me why the Jews seem to attract such vitriolic hatred? Everybody seems to have it in for them, Egyptians, Arabs of all nationalities, Iranians ( who are not arabs!) Germans, even English and French back in the day, Russians and many others. What is it that inspires mobs to go snarling through foreign cities howling for Jewish blood, pure hatred on their faces? It seems to lie dormant for a few years then its almost as if their enemies think , " Hey, we better stir something up, its been too quiet for a while, like an attack on a music festival, kill a lot of them and take some hostages, THAT should stir things up good and proper" and sure enough out come all the mobs and UN resolutions, parliamentary discussions, discussions on the viability of a Jewish state by all sorts of nations who actually have nothing to do with anything, etc etc.
I dont understand why they ( the Jews) seem to have the ability to cause such worldwide ructions. Israel is only a tiny part of the world, yet the number of wars fought around there is legion. However it does seem that arabs in general just wont let it lie down. I sailed with them for years and never dared raise any subject that could be related to zionism ever. Spent time with jewish people and nobody seemed to have the slightest interest in " having a go " at arabs in general. Weird huh.
Look at how the Spanish REALLY want Gibraltar back from the British, but hey..... millions of Brits sun themselves on Spanish beaches buy villas all over Spain without any fear of mobs or attacks.

I think it's purely an islamic thing. They don't seem to like anyone that's not islamic, it's why they call everyone else, infidels. The Jews were probably not very warlike through history, so they've been an easy target, until now.
