It doesnt cost much Des only coppers to have your name and Dis. A. Number enscribed on the back, will always help future owners of such to trace its origins , will also add value. The same with medals have had most I possess done. And your name is there for ever. The miniatures as regards medals are rather small for this so is advisable to keep the citations if possible. The badge from the MOD will have been accompanied with words to that effect so should also keep. Still looking for mine as can’t remember where I put it for safety. Today there will probably be people walking round displaying badges and medals they are not entitled to. A name and dis number cuts that risk to a minimum. Cheers JS
PS However I see Mo’s post on VNC’s hasn’t provoked a massive response to claims of being the proud owners of such ,and there must be hundreds walking around today ?
