Re: London Cenotaph 2023 onwards
Hello
I went to the MN Tower Hill Service 9th September 2018. Viv Foster, President of the MNA, was there as well. I laid a wreath remembering the loss of the 7 Rescue Ships and the brave crews of the Rescue Service. John Rix (RIP) Editor of the MN magazine arranged it for me. I was always very grateful for his friendship.

I don't suppose the RBL want daughters of RS Masters in the March Past? ? ? !

Hello Ivan
I've just spoken to my First Mate, Pete, and he says, 'Go for it.' So I will.
Will contact Tim Brant when I have collected my thoughts. I was in the MNA as an Associate Member but I let it lapse - still have my card !
Will keep you posted, Ivan. It would be a privilege to march with you.

Re: London Cenotaph 2023 onwards
Brenda and myself had a successful day on Sunday in London and it was nice that she got to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph in memory of her father and the tug rescue service. I was a cold day but mainly dry, afterwards our families met up for a chat and coffee, Brenda was well supported by her lovely extended family who all travelled from Cheshire on the Saturday afternoon.
Unfortunately our MN contingent is constantly dwindling and we were down to 18 participants this year, we urgently need some new blood so that our MN service is not wiped out of the parade altogether, it is a privilege to be there and the other Services appreciate our being there, I have always been warmly welcomed by them and they appreciated the efforts of the MN supporting them in their sphere of operations
