Cargo sailing vessels
Ship owners love idea of cutting fuel costs on ships, and environmentalists would love cleaner atmosphere, air is abundant and free .As we fellas know container ships cause massive pollution and container ports are smog filled.Shippers use flettner rotors but want cheaper ways of course, massive kites were mentioned for bows of container ships,if carbon emmisions are being lowered by the wind that is great, but time is money fellas

Re: Cargo sailing vessels
We get many container ships here in Melbourne but have yet to see any smog from them.
Talk of all electric ships but as yet no way to source such an amount of power.
There are now some that run on LPG as it is considered cleaner.
But most now use as much electric as possible derived from a diesel generator.

Happy daze John in Oz.
