As I have said before , the EU is a sick child with more and more countries getting fed up with those appalling people in Brussels.
I just cannot understand Miss Sturgeons insistance in trying to stick with the corrupt and self seeking EU. My only hope is the
Dutch movement to be free from this disgraceful orginisation.

#1 I'm proud to be British and proud to be Anglo Saxon (DNA 66% North European - North Germany I think 33% Celtic. 1% Middle East - don't know where the 1% comes from!) I make no apologies for the British Empire, which gave the world more than it took from it - not least footie and cricket - The tough hardy Welsh, the Scots the Irish fighters, and the adventurous English together can beat the world. I'm looking forward to CANZUK an anglosphere that will make us English-speaking people one of the most powerful trading and military forces in the world. However, if the Scots want to break away from the Union, well that's up to them. England alone will be a nation once again and remember England is the oldest unified nation on earth with the longest recorded and most colourful of history.

Not English history, all that is quite new historically. British history is a different kettle of fish.

English is also one of the worlds most recent languages historically.

    hi peter
i was late getting back from the around anglesey yacht race a couple of years ago, so racing up the slip to the liverpool arms for the last drink i rushed in and as usual forced my way to the bar where the bar staff where besieged by arms coming over at them from everywhere, by the time the barman came to me it was closing time and he made that clear to me. i immediately congratulated him and his staff for dealing with the onslaught of thirsty english yachties and he calmed down and said yes he had been rushed off his feet by all these ungrateful english selfish yachties, i then reminded him that as a race of people they where inhabitant of england before any other known race , whereby he stood back looked at me and said say that again which i did, and i and my crew where there until about four oclock in the following morning, so the welsh therefore where here first.

    hi john cassels
i think holland will have to put a move on if it wants to be the first to exit the eu, if you have not viewed utube then go over there and check it out you will be surprised to see that the eu is in more danger of splitting up than you first imagined.

The wee cronkie will do anything to follow her set blinkered cause for independence whether it's in Scotland's interests or not, she has become self delusional and believes that virtually everyone but everyone desires what she desires. She forgets that history is full of infamous people as well as heroes.

Not surprising, as Scotland’s law and politics are much closer to the continental model than ours.
