P & o
P & 0 are transferring the registration of thier ferries to Cyprus.
This to ensure that they can take advantage of the EU tax breaks after brexit.

DYSON is moving its UK operation to Singapore, despite the man himself being in favour of Brexit

re: P & O
Hi Vic the P&O ferries in Hull have been registered in the Bahamas for many years. It was to avoid national insurance payments.

Tony, although Dyson has moved his head office function to Singapore, the R &D facility is remaining in the UK.

re: P & O
Apparently the reason Dyson has relocated his HQ to Singapore, is because Singapore has a trade deal with the EU,so he will have the best of both worlds, still maintaining his manufacture here in UK, but able to trade with EU via Singapore, kt

Well that's a little compensation then. I can understand why the decision was made for commercial reasons, but for someone promoting brexit I still think its a bit cynical.

I suppose they have undertaken a risk assessment on the chances of the Turks taking half their vessels?

Re: P & o
P&O, like most cruise companies now have their ships registered overseas.
Hamilton is the main spot, but there are a few still with London on the stern.
I was informed that by having only one ship in each fleet registered this way there are financial benefits for the company.

Happy daze John in Oz.
