Re: TV programn
Just watched this program, we all know what happened, but a lot of footage i had not seen, and the full transcipt between the coastguard and Capitano, the coastguard really gave him some stick, at one point told him "i will make you pay for this". A lot of interviews with passengers etc. The part that really baffles me is how the helmsman gets to be guilty. How many more of these bloody great cruise boats are out there waiting for this type of disaster, complete chaos, KT

Re: TV programn
I do not sail on Cruise ships that have Italian, Greek or Latino Masters.
They tend to leave the ship and go for help in a lifeboat without telling anyone.
Last week on Singapore TV The News showed Schettino being taken back aboard his ship as part of his trial, She is upright but water up to the boat deck.
.
Cunard use British Masters and Holland America have Dutch and British Masters. The one I have just come off , Amsterdam, had a British Captain.and Dutch and British Mates. so felt in good professional hands.
Cheers
Brian.
