I started to lose patience when he asked for a method of private contact , Nice one Tony !
This Bum should be got rid of immediately, he asks for a favour, he gets good advice of the lads and then turns and insults us. I think he is just taking the piss out of everyone. If he does not like the Brits then he should keep his big gob shut and stay in his cess pit of India.
Brian.
We all try and be helpful , but when you get a guy like that it really does become annoying , I think he was interested in coming here to Work in a take away near you rather than look into a seagoing career . I have met some Indian and Sri Lankan Engineers at sea and ashore , they don't seem to have mediocre ones , either brilliant or astoundingly awful
So my suspicions were correct,I could see right through his writings.Words spelt correct on one post and incorrect on another.
Regards.

Gentlemen,
He's winding you up. I can hear BAKSHEESH through it all. Witnessed famine in India during 1943. Thousands died during Partition. Who do you think was responsible? Driving a Garry sounds a more appropriate vocation than Seafaring. Cheer up, Eric
Reading through some of these older posts. is now November so is some months ago. Maybe the person looking for advice has by now been appointed as minister of shipping in whatever country he resides. If UK should be easy enough as don't believe there are that many. Cheers John Sabourn
Rob, p55 "they don't seem to have mediocre ones , either brilliant or astoundingly awful" Sounds normal to me. I worked for a great international Co in my early days in management & they had a firm policy, 'never hire anyone with a masters degree.' I was the first one to hire & it was also their first lady with MBA, caused a riot. Then they said she was very very good which she was just pity she got married & went off to have babies. Still occasional communicate with each other. Richard
Probably.
