It never ceases to amaze me the temerity of some politicians. When in office they toe the party line, even putting forward ideas that are no good. Then when out of office condemn those very concepts as being of little or no use to the nation. Here in Oz so many ex politicians put forward thoughts on how it should be done, which just goes to show hindsight is a wonderful thing, or they were just plain stupid in the first place.
The latest from Europe shows a further decline in the fortunes of Spain. Undoubtably this is going to make further demands on the so called union of Europe. The uk is going to have to foot some more massive cutbacks to accomplish this. Meanwhile the Ditherer the uk P.M. sits and makes excuses for not holding a referendum. If he had the courage of his convictions he would have held before now. He must be assuming it will go against remaining in Europe, this however may not be the case as believe the country is divided on the issue, however by his pussyfooting around the subject is letting the country and the people down. Whichever way the vote went it would put peoples mind at rest, if it was against staying then the sooner out the better. If for staying then at least the country would be a bit more together on facing the hardships. By his total inadequacy on making the proper decision by having a referendum he is showing how weak a person he is. By some of the decisions on arming certain factions in Syria and other parts of the world has also shown how incompetent the foreign office under his command is also. Most politicians take advice on all their so called decision making, his advisors must be a load of plonkers. John Sabourn
I usually turn the tv off when our glorious PM appears on the tube. However as the elections draw nigh I have taken to watching to see what sort of Bull s..t they are putting out. The roles seem to me to have been reversed and all I see is the pure venom out against the leader of the opposition. This is in stark difference when they took upon themselves to label him a homophobic. The obvious ploy is to continue to try and destroy the character of same, in a normal world away from politics they would be brought up for character assassination, as I suppose some of us would when we put out our feelings on politicians in general. When I think of that saying shes no lady shes my wife, I think of Julia Gillard as shes no lady shes our Prime Minister. All I see from the labour party is this pure venom against one person, obviously they have been told to use this tactic. Lets hope it is the last throw of the dice from a mostly inefficient government who when the truth is finally out will be found to have cost the country dearly. John Sabourn
John the problem is simple, if you cannot play the ball then play the man. If you haver good sound policies that will benifit the country then there is no need to stoop to such a low platform. To call the man, who is married with three girls, a mysogenist is realy scraping the bottom of the barrel. But currently they are employing the pom who got Blair into office. But the situationnin UK was a bit different, the Torries had been in office for almost 20 years so a change was on the cards anyway.
If this woman had not lied on so mnay occasions and tried to demonise the leader of the opposition she may have found her self a bit more popular.
Since J. Howard was defeated the ALP has lurched from crisis to crisis, and it is not getting any better. Since WW2 there has only been one year,1989, when any Labor gov has produced a surplus or balanced budget, and this lot try to tell us they can do it with a deficit of almost 20 billion this year and an overall national debt of 250 billion! When they came to office unemployment was 4.2% now they are crowing how good they are because it is 5.5%.
