Political correctness hit a new low point here in Oz on January 26th, Australia day. An acedemic, better to call them an epidemic, has after some form of survey taken last year amongst 513 drunks, made the staement that any one who flies the national flag from their car on Australia day is a racist!!!!!

The talk back radio station from where she made the statement went into melt down.

We get that here m8 everytime England quilify for the world cup football finals. I take no bloody notice m8 and i refuse to i am English born and bred. Hughie Green, did you know that he was an avid and very knowledgeable train enthusiast, especially steam trains.
He was often seen on the footplate of steam engines or later in the cabs of the diesels.
I actually met him as a young trainspotter on Lancaster railway station as he got off from riding in the cab of a Delta class diesel......not a lot of people know that!!!!!

I'd imagine that steam trains were the only ones in service when Hughie Green was around, could be wrong though.
