Who mentioned the Archer's?......Don't knock it, Rob,
Walter Gabriel was a randy old bu--er in his day and if old age hadn't overtaken him, who knows what the BBC had in store for him? I used to think that Tom Forrest was a bit odd, running around in those woods all on his own. I , off course, was of a time when Phil Archer was courting Grace Fairbrother (before the fire tragedy), John Tregorran was a bit of a mystery and old Dan still had certain carnal desires for Doris. Jeez!!! I guess that ages me a bit, doesn't it?:)

A BIT , hey Roger a LOT !!!! , You will be telling me next that you remember Mrs Dales's Diary
I can't see what the problem is with this thread(#14 Tony wants to pull it) let's face it we are supposed to be men of the world.Capt.Bill put his head above the parapet and he was there tobe shot down.I like Gullivers follow up's and Capt.Bill has the right to reply.Somebody posted the other day ( I think he was an ex captain from the N.E.Coast)I love a good argument.Remember Young Jim,Jimmy's and a couple of others that were bombed off the site, at times it became very interesting reading and all hands got involved. Some time it does get a bit boring with where is this!!

Hi Chris,
" I went to see Sally yesterday".............I don't know who used to write the scripts for Mrs.Dale, but they were earth-shatteringly brilliant, weren't they? :D I can recall the times I'd get home from school early and walk in the door only to be greeted by that bl--dy harp music which announced the beginning of another mind-blowing episode. Absolutely gripping stuff, kids today don't know the meaning of good drama:rolleyes:.

Hi Roger, seem to remember that it followed Music while you Work, now there is another blast from the past, it was said to be the popular music of the day :mymy:
