An old one
An Englishman, a Scotsman, a Welshman , and an Irishman were all good buddies .
The Irishman dies and they have his open coffin in the bar to have his wake.
The 3 remainers were all sitting there with their pints of Guinness to honour his memory all with tears streaming down their faces. The Englishmen says he was a fine fellow and I owed him 20 pounds and never repaid him , whereupon he takes the money out of his pocket and throws it in the coffin.
Taffy seeing this is torn up by a guilty conscience and says , I too Di owed him 30 pounds and takes out of his pocket and throws in coffin. Jock not to be outdone says Ock aye the noo I too was in his debt for 50 pounds takes out his cheque book writes a cheque for a 100 pounds throws it on the coffin , picks up the 50 pounds lying there for change , and says to the undertaker , right then Angus you can screw the lid back on now.
