Re: Pulling a double-shift now.
Got it confirmed today my 43 yr Son has tested positive for covid, This is a lad who runs every Marathon in the country and when he can around the world,Plays football twice a week, dont drink dont smoke fit as a fiddle and never missed a days work in his life, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy but when i sometimes take a look at the state some 40+ yr olds have got themselves into in there lives it beggars belief i have every confidence the lad will come through unscathed god willing. Fingers crossed for me and the wife we spent an hour with him last Sunday. The hand of god moves in mysterious ways, Terry,

Terry mate he will be fine.
Latest from my Niece in London in St. Thomas Hospital where she is senior Radiographer,
'Evidence shows that no full fit person had succumbed to the virus, only those with pre existing medical conditions'.

Re: Pulling a double-shift now.
Well lads once it was confirmed i rang my GP, Told her the story she rang me back half an hour later to go for a test today in a clinic in Herefordshire, Only about 100 miles from Liverpool considering we have to isolate for 4 weeks on hospitals advice. Its a bloody farce alright, She is ringing me back Monday trying to get a self diagnostic kit out to me and the missis. I refuse to get political on this site again this government couldn't organize a Pi*s Up in a brewery.
Thank You all for the posts there greatly appreciated Terry.

Re: Pulling a double-shift now.
Hope all goes well for your son and your wider family Terry. Once again the north of England is in the eye of the storm.
My daughter drove to Kings Lynn in Norfolk to have her son tested after he was sent home from school with a cold. He couldn't return until a test showed negative. If he had been positive for the virus it is possible many more people would have been infected on their journey.
