Re: BBC To means test over 75 yr olds free t.v.licsence
Agree Rob, I Done some work for a very well known Liverpool comedian a few years ago { Eddie Flanagan } He would sit all day writing his material and test it on us he was hilarious and a regular on the old Comedians show which was a regular on I.T.V. At one time, I put it to him why is there no light entertainment on T.V. Eddie it seems all the comedy shows are gone these days, His answer {WE CANT COOK} :mymy:

Obviously UK TV is similar to here in Oz, cooking shows, house refurbishment shows, cooking shows, talent shows, cooking shows, game shows, cooking shows, and programs that are of little or no interest apart from the fringe dwellers.
Then of course we have the cooking shows on all 20 or so channels.

In reality our BBC has a good choice throughout all it's channels,
with catch up, BBC player services etc it is still prob the best in the world.
If ours seems bad, overseas etc must be awful ?

It would appear the BBC in UK and the ABC here in Oz are no different.
Supposed to be A political they are amongst the worst style of Left wing broadcasters ever seen.
